China's commerce ministry announces the conclusion of 156 antitrust cases during the first half
In a statement to the China Daily, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce reported that they have concluded 156 antitrust cases during the first half of this year.
The statement indicated that 43% of these cases were about oversees M&As (67 cases) with 18% increase from last year.

M&A cases between Chinese companies and overseas firms totaled accounted for 29% of the total (45 cases), up 15 % from last year. They also reported that the MOC has been actively cooperating with international law enforcement agencies citing the signature of a memorandum of understanding on antitrust cooperation with CMA in the United Kingdom.
